In today's world, we encounter computer in all possible forms. Often, they are not even recognizable for us anymore.
How can be reflect the ubiquitous presence of computers in our everyday environment in a critical form? How can we point out potential dangers that come with this omnipresence?
We wanted to develop a device that is convenient and disturbing at the same time.
Spyfy is a radio that plays musics, carefully selected after your needs.
It only has one button with which you can switch it the music on and off. But the device itself listens to you all the time, as long as you are present in the place where it stands. Spyfy records your conversations and analyze all the things you say to find songs on Spotify based on your words. It then adds these songs to a playlist which is played by it. You never have to worry about music again—Spyfy takes care of you!
Spyfy was developed with a Raspberry Pi and the Spotify API.
